Neat room, spotless, with a large bathroom. Very pleasant stuff and good and incredible location just next door to pubs as well as nearby Leith.

Charming, Victorian property. The excellent staff and their attitude. Warm and lovely breakfast with hearty portions and a view of the castle, as example and good customer service. All in all excellent and perfect location, near north 

It's brilliant place for sightseeing and exploring Edinburgh. The hotel is in an amazing and incredible location, metres from a bus stop. It provides great restaurant nearby.

We got a room with a bath. The breakfast was gorgeous, had a very comfortable stay for our last 2 nights in Scotland. The stuff seemed pleasant. That hotel was in a great location, very close to the beautiful

Beautifully kept and nice place with very welcoming staff. Marvellous location in a nice quiet area, right by regular buses, edinburgh sights, and the centre.

Pleasant people working here, beautifully kept place. Good service, neat queen room with comfortable beds and internal bathrooms. Wonderful breakfast with a view of the castle for the start of the day.  

The staff are pleasant, and the owner too. The restaurant food is great, and the breakfast offered is excellent with fresh toast and a view of the castle.

They placed us in a twin room which was en suite and neat. Could use an electric kettle, central heating and a TV.
